We recently worked with a talented graduate from Europe who had 6 months experience in iPhone development. We struck up contact with him to see how we could help. After discussing his career aspirations at length, and keeping in touch over several weeks, he was presented with a number of options we had researched specifically for him. The result is that he’s now working at a prominent company in his dream market-space in a fantastic role at the cutting-edge of technology. Why? We made a call to the Managing Director of an established mobile marketing agency to see if we could help. (We’re friendly like that.) Turns out we could. A number of key projects meant that they needed to recruit and couldn’t hire fast enough. This was a critical hire and the candidate had to be right on the button. But we’re on the button you see, and we’re in touch with good people all the time, so a candidate came immediately to mind. Here’s an idea of the time-line:
- Day 1. We received details about the vacant role.
- Day 2. We secured a candidate commitment and sent over the CV.
- Day 3. The client moved their diary around to prioritise the interview.
- Day 4. The candidate was offered the role. They started the very next week. We now work with this client very closely on an ongoing basis. It really is good to talk…to us.
