What we are looking for

The Finance Director is a pivotal role within the organisation,responsible for overseeing the financial activities
and ensuring they align with the strategic objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic foresight,
operational expertise, and a hands-on approach to financial management. The ideal candidate will bring a
proactive attitude, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to lead financial initiatives that
support our ambitious goals.

What you will do..

● Craft and execute financial strategies that underpin the company's strategic goals, ensuring financial
stability and growth.
● Lead comprehensive budgeting and financial forecasting processes, providing accurate financial
models and analyses to inform decision-making.
● Ensure robust financial reporting, compliance, and control mechanisms are in place, in line with UK
financial regulations and standards.
● Drive efficiency and optimisation across financial operations, identifying opportunities for cost
reduction and improved financial performance.
● Manage and develop a finance team, fostering an environment of excellence, accountability, and
continuous professional development.
● Serve as a key financial advisor to the senior management team, offering insights and
recommendations that shape company strategy and operations.
● Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital structure, ensuring optimal
financial health and risk management.
● Liaise with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions, to ensure
effective financial management and compliance.
● Champion the use of technology and financial systems to enhance financialreporting, analysis, and
operational efficiency.

What you will bring to the role…

● You will be a qualified Accountant, CIMA qualified, or hold an equivalent qualification,
demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
● Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, with a proven track record of contributing to
financial strategy and business growth.
● Deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements in
the UK.
● Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex
financial challenges.
● Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team, promoting a culture of
high performance and continuous improvement.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to articulate financial concepts to
non-financial stakeholders.
