My client is a venture-backed mobile game studio founded by two female gaming industry veterans with leadership experience at renowned companies such as EA, Glu, New York Times, and Dots. They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join their team. In this role, you will take on a leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO, and play a pivotal role in shaping the performance, live operations, and roadmap of their first title – currently in soft launch. Collaborating closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and artists, you will have the unique opportunity to drive meaningful change in the gaming landscape for women. This position is available as a full-time remote role based in the UK or other EU countries.

The leadership team gave me this quote to share about their culture:

"An open mind an respectfulness is vital. We stay true to our core values - open collaboration, respectful communication, and intentional inclusivity. As a fully remote company, it’s important to apply this to our day-to-day while keeping our focus on goals and results."

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (Design, Art, Engineering) to design, scope, and implement core features that deliver an exceptional gameplay experience and drive positive metrics.
  • Advocate for the product vision and strategy, overseeing product progress through milestone completion and roadmap management.
  • Foster a data-driven culture that embraces hypothesis testing, implementation, validation, and iterative improvements.
  • Analyse and maintain an in-depth understanding of the live game, sharing data-driven insights through the creation of insightful dashboards and reports to inform product strategy and roadmap.
  • Conduct user and competitive research to identify user segments, assess player needs, and define product value propositions to enhance player engagement, retention, and LTV.
  • Proactively identify and implement optimizations to enhance the player experience and core financial performance, while representing the voice and needs of our players.
  • Assist the leadership team in defining and refining the game's business strategy to build a robust product roadmap for development and post-launch live operations.

Ideally we’re looking for:

  • You’re nimble and proactive.
  • Experience in product management, game economy, live operations, or analytics in mobile F2P games.
  • Proven track record of developing or improving features for a consumer product.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative forecasting/modelling skills with a focus on data-informed decision-making.
  • A passion for games with a player-first mentality.
  • Thrive in small, autonomous, and highly productive teams.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary £65,000 - £75,000 Or EURO Equivalent
  • Opportunity to build the team from early on, meaningfully impacting company strategy and growth.
  • 22 days PTO and country-specific national holidays + 1 week of company-wide holiday recharge time at the end of December.
  • Health insurance and benefits compliant with country-specific guidelines.
  • Annual company retreat where we can all connect in person and have fun.
  • Flexible working hours and locations.
  • Culture of openness and inclusivity and shared value to make the gaming industry a more diverse and safer place.
