Senior Technical Artist

As a Senior Technical Artist, you will support artists and content creators by creating and defining pipelines and tools that enable them to create efficient and high-quality art for our games. You will work alongside artists and engineers to establish best working practices for content creation, and help establish and push the benchmark for quality in our games, ensuring we have tools that enable a collaborative and efficient workflow.

Key Duties Include

·       Working alongside artists and engineers to establish best working practices for content creation

·       Help establish and push the benchmark for quality in our game ensuring we have tools that enable a collaborative and efficient workflow

·       Ensuring you are up to date with process developments in the games industry

·       Collaborating with other Artists and Technical Artists and ensuring we all learn from each other’s work

·       Mentoring and helping Technical Artists to further develop their level of craft

Requirements

·       Solid scripting abilities in Python or other languages

·       Fundamental knowledge of rendering pipelines, HLSL/GLSL

·       Good knowledge of 1 or more DCC packages such as Maya/Max/Blender/Houdini

·       Excellent communication skills

·       In-depth knowledge of best practices for game content creation

·       Have completed at least 1 full games development cycle

·       Development experience in Unreal Engine

·       A passion for gaming and being familiar with the goals and challenges we face
