My client is an award winning first party developer and market leader in the motion gaming space. We are looking for an experience technical program manager to work with our core technology teams to deliver the tools, pipeline and engine support required by an innovative, ground breaking, class leading triple A franchise.
In this role you will…
- Work with the core tech teams and stakeholders to define scope, goals and deliverables for multiple projects
- Track and manage these project deliverables
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
- Drive communication project progress to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
- Enforce our development processes, feedback and help evolve where possible
- Plan and track risks for the projects, pro-actively developing strategies for addressing these risks
- Manage scoping, scheduling, tracking and reporting of production
- Execute assembly of overall project budget projection
- Balance engineering resources across multiple teams, with differing skill sets
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Track software support costs and balance the needs of support for existing tools, with the requirements to develop new tools
- Ensure that detailed documentation is available for all areas supported by the core technology groups, ensure this is kept up to date with changes
Essential Experience
- Strong understanding of project management software tools for tracking, scheduling and reporting
- Strong, current knowledge of production methodologies and principles
- A strong programming and technical background
- Experience of a full game development lifecycle on a high-end platform
- Experience of balancing the resource needs of multiple projects
- Proven record of working with external partners, developing relationships
- A thorough understanding of the tools and pipelines required to deliver triple A quality titles
Qualifications
- Must have a Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
