Technology

We make things work
We do. We’re technology specialists and cover all types of roles in this space, including development, support and strategic senior hires. From established client-server and business IT through to cloud computing, open-source development, mobile, web and e-marketing. We always keep up-to-date with the latest technology. We’re tuned in to how technology affects businesses, which means we make recruitment work for our candidates and clients.

We know which technology markets are looking for your skills, and we know the right people at the forefront of the technology industry – so show us what you’re made of. Once we’ve developed a relationship with you, we can talk to the people who are managing your dream job and show them why you’re perfect for the role. And that goes for first steps into the technology market all the way through to securing a position on the board.
Pretty recently a leading e-commerce company were in need of 4 staff with the newer, open-source technology skills on the market, ‘Ruby on Rails’. Ruby is a computer language and Rails is the platform (in case you were wondering). It so happened that our candidate pool included Ruby developers, and we had already been in regular contact with a number of individuals who we knew were looking for such an opportunity. We never forget our candidates. In addition to the people we knew, we used our industry knowledge and candidate networks to find more of the right people. We successfully placed 3 of the 4 highly sought after Ruby developers. The fourth was a direct applicant known to the client (which is fair enough, we say). We don't do it for the thanks but we usually get it. You're welcome.

The real trick to securing the best people for your company is to work with your recruitment supplier (in other words us) in true partnership. That’s why we will listen carefully to what you tell us about your business and what you’re looking for. After all, we’re not here to provide you with something you don’t want.
A small development company recently released a new role. No biggie. But when 3 CVs in a row didn’t hit the mark needed to know why. We visited the client face-to-face (as we always prefer to do). Wouldn't you know it, one key ingredient was missing and after discussion, we made sure that all the CVs sent over had exactly what they needed. It did take us longer to find the right person, but we kept the client informed, advising them on market options throughout the process. Hey presto, we found what they were looking for, and since joining this hire has allowed the company to develop their new technology platform with a positive impact to the bottom line. At the other end of the scale, during our busiest time with a major multinational client, we placed 68 new members of professional IT staff over a period of 12 months. That's more than one a week. One of these was an Information Services Strategy Director. One of these was a Helpdesk Advisor. And there was plenty in between.
