Neon Play announces Traffic Panic Boom Town

10/07/17

UK-based games studio, Neon Play announces Traffic Panic Boom Town

the latest in its number one Traffic Panic series and available free for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. With over 20 million fans and one billion game plays since the first Traffic Panic game in 2011, this latest edition introduces city building to the series for the first time, giving players the chance to build their dream town around the addictive Traffic Panic mini game.

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play told us, “This is the biggest game that Neon Play has launched and we’re seriously proud of Traffic Panic Boom Town. We hope that players love building their dream towns and the added fun of the Traffic Panic mini game makes this a truly unique city builder. We are working with some fantastic global partners and we are really excited about working with Sony Pictures on the Emoji Movie event.”

The game begins with a single intersection in the vast, open desert of Boom Town. Players earn rewards for getting vehicles safely across intersections by controlling the traffic lights. Tapping anywhere on the screen turns the lights red or green and sends the waiting vehicles on their way. Look for the gaps and safely get your vehicles across to win coins and chests, you’ll also pick up bonuses for near-misses and non-stop traffic flow.

Open the chests and collect cards to unlock your first building, then place the building around your intersection to attract more visitors and more money to your town.

The more you play, the more you’ll earn and the more buildings you’ll unlock and be able to upgrade. As your town grows, you’ll move up through the levels and unlock additional intersections for even more chances to play and win.

The game gives you the ability to place buildings wherever you choose and features over 150 decorations to personalise your town, including everything from a humble patch of dirt path and a leafy bush; to national flags and a giant fluorescent diner sign.

With loads of cool buildings to unlock: from a BBQ Joint to a Bowling Alley; and over 50 awesome vehicles: from sports cars to 18-wheelers and even a tank; the possibilities are endless… you won't be able to put Traffic Panic Boom Town down! Friends playing Boom Town? Connect with Facebook to visit their towns and win gift chests everyday.

Plus, look out for special Boom Town Events: 10-day extravaganzas giving players the chance to win exclusive prizes to decorate their town that are only available during the Event. Events get underway when The Emoji Movie takes over Boom Town from 21 July, in partnership with Sony Pictures. Players will have the chance to win exclusive Emoji Movie characters including Meh, Hi-5, Smiler and Poo to make their town unique!

Fans of Traffic Panic can get closer to the series than ever before with loads of behind the scenes art on the official Traffic Panic website (www.trafficpanic.com). There will also be an official Traffic Panic Boom Town iMessage Sticker pack coming to iOS soon.

Plus there is a fun and colourful range of Boom Town merchandise, including T-shirts, hoodies, cushions, key rings and more, available via the Traffic Panic Boom Town online store (https://shop.trafficpanic.com).
