We are working with an award-winning, premium software engineering company, who design, develop and deliver video game services to their AAA clients. 

Based in Cheshire, they are part of the Keywords global network of game development services studios and are looking for a talented 3D Animator to join their dynamic and supportive team.

They have been actively engaged in the computer games development industry for the past 20+ years, with experience on many platforms including iOS, Mac, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita and PC/Steam.

D3t’s developers are an extension of their client’s teams which enables great collaborations and the ability to work on varied and exciting projects. As a 3D Animator, you will bring your absolute passion for games to this role, be hungry to expand your expertise and get stuck in with the team. You will be joining people that deliver outstanding work without the crunch!

Your Role:

  • You will be responsible for creating and improving a diverse range of in-game and cinematic animations, for a beloved AAA action-adventure project.

  • Accurately follow pre-defined animation styles to create high quality animations

  • Assist with the improvement and creation of animations within the cinematics

  • Work as part of a game development team working alongside character artists, riggers and technical artists

  • Assist with both technical and creative problem solving and help streamline workflows

  • Take full ownership of assigned tasks, working within technical constraints, testing and debugging.

Your Essentials:

  • A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrated through showreel, website or animation test

  • A passion for bringing characters to life and a good understanding of human anatomy and movement

  • Experience in creating animation for games and of using game engines (Unreal 4/Unity)

  • Proficient in animating using 3D software packages and of game animation pipelines

  • Ability to work well as part of a team, alongside artists, engineers, technical artists and production etc

  • Self-motivated with good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Eager to learn new techniques and game development processes.
