I’m working with the leadership team of a brand new studio, currently in stealth mode. They are fully backed by a global publisher. They are a remote first studio with a global footprint, but with physical studios in the UK and US. The studio leadership team has alumni from game and tech companies including Bioware, Epic, Google, Amazon, Twitch, EA and Rockstar Games.
In terms of the project, they’re developing a multi-platform 3rd person action which is going to be designed to appeal to a much wider demographic. The core aim is to make a game consumed by everyone; of all backgrounds and ages. The game is still in pre-production so for new joiners, there is so much to shape - not only in terms of the game and it’s creative direction but in terms of processes and culture of the studio itself.
They’re now looking for AI Developers, this role would see you work with their TD and current programming team - using C++ and Unreal Engine 5 to Develop game code and extend AI code for a high-profile game. You'd be working with other engineers to contribute to a shared vision for captivating AI. To be considered for the role, we'd love to see:
- Long term use of C++ and Ideally Unreal Engine
- Good problem solving skills
- Previous demonstrable experience developing intuitive, original and authentic feeling AI
- A leaning towarda Gameplay, AI, Animation OR UI code would be really cool to see
- Passion for technology
- You write good, clean, robust, re-usable code
- Confident and inclusive communicator
This is a very rare opportunity to join a Start-up but withOUT the funding issues, and WITH the talent and publishing deal. Enjoy the best of both worlds.
The studio are offering market leading salaries (£45,000 - £95,000 for this role) and a raft of benefits including private health, enhanced pension, sign on bonuses, wellness grants, 25 days holidays and enhanced Paternity and Maternity Leave.
