A North East based Games studio are currently looking for an Art Manager to join their growing team.
Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.
As the Art manager, you will work with all the art teams in the studio, such as Lighting, Environment, Character, UI and VFX and help get assets from concept to final release quality. The studio strives for high quality with every project they create and they’re aiming to achieve high-end graphics, which you will have a hand in managing and improving.
The studio has a long-standing history in creating some of the best games on the market on console platforms. This role will have you working closely with the management and will get involved with various aspects of development, which includes liaising with department leads, scheduling, milestone management and advising the best course of action with each project hurdle. You will manage multiple stages at once, ensuring quality is kept up to a high standard, while also being a key motivator in the team.

- At least 3 years’ experience in the games industry in a similar position or as a Producer
- Experience of managing Art/Creative Teams from 15-60 people would be a bonus
- Shipped titles on PC, Console or Mobile platforms
- Keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of 3D Max, Maya, or equivalent 3D programs
- Strong experience of stakeholder management and the game development life cycle
This role is remote working initially (you must be UK/EU based) with a view to work on site permanently when it’s safe to do so.
