As part of the Worlds Team at Deepmind, the Art Outsource Manager will focus on ensuring the timely delivery of digital assets for use in research environments.
Deepmind design and implement environments carefully as it’s likely we’ll live with them for many years to come.

In order to ensure a constant supply of suitably complex objects you will establish and develop a relationship with an external outsource vendor.

Your focus will be to grow that relationship, define pipelines, establish best practices, implement review and feedback cycles and oversee sign off procedures.

You will also be required to expand art outsourcing capability as output volume and asset complexity increases.

Role requirements:

Build a successful outsourcing operation comprising internal and external components.
Ensure vendors' performance aligns with internal goals.
Collaborate closely with Worlds leads and with vendor managers.
Responsible for end-to-end lifecycle of project deliverables.
Ensure external/internal pipeline synchronicity and constant asset delivery.
Define and lead all aspects of a feedback/sign-off process.
Maintain up-to-date project and financial data, track issues and provide stakeholders with timely reports.
Provide proactive support to the Lead Program Manager and put forward ideas for continuous improvement.
Willing to travel and visit vendor sites as required.
About You

Extensive experience working with external vendors/outsourcing management.
Art team production/management experience ideal.
Experience of team building or start-up ideal.
Experience working in the games/film industry ideal.
External contract management experience a benefit.
Able to react effectively and swiftly to significant change.
Able to organise multiple ongoing aspects of project management.
