Amiqus have partnered with No Brakes Games, who are looking for an Assistant / Associate Producer to join the team.

Built on the phenomenal success story of Human: Fall Flat, we have opened a new studio in Tenerife and are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to join us.

You will be helping to guide the development of our new unannounced game from early prototype to final release, working alongside and supporting the rest of the team. You will also be working directly alongside our Studio Director, learning about and supporting the business needs of the studio.

In this role, you can make a significant contribution to not only the game, but also the team as we want employees to feel empowered in developing the studio culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the team to guide the production of the game development life cycle, ensuring we deliver a quality player experience on-time, within budget and scope.
  • Upholding and championing the creative vision.
  • Project lifecycle planning and management: assisting in developing roadmaps and milestone plans, and leading sprint / task planning sessions.
  • Supporting the team and keeping track of development, ensuring that any issues, dependencies or blockers are identified and finding solutions for these.
  • Working alongside the Studio Director to assist with the business needs of the studio, including any general administration duties.
  • Maintaining communication within the team and with publishers / external teams where relevant.
  • Organising build reviews and participating in these; sharing, collating, distributing and actioning feedback as appropriate.
  • Supporting internal and external QA to help prioritise and triage bugs.
  • Liasing with the community where relevant to support development.
  • Being an ambassador for the company values.

  • Prior experience working in the Games Industry.
  • Strong ability to prioritise and adapt quickly to the team and project needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Hansoft, Jira etc.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of agile development.
  • Passion for video games.

Nice to have:

  • Previously shipped titles on PC or Console platforms.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Experience using Unity.

This role is located in Tenerife and will provide a relocation package and competitive salary for the right candidate.

(Please note that we are unable to provide Visa Sponsorship for this role & candidates must have the existing right to work within the EU).
