Amiqus have partnered with an exciting Award-winning games studio based in Guildford who are known for setting the quality bar on console titles.

They are currently going through a period of expansion and require an experienced Audio Production Manager to work on a variety of projects from AAA narrative console to high-end VR titles. 

As the Audio Production Manager, you will work closely with the Audio team on helping deliver world class audio for a range of AAA titles. The studios games pride themselves on hyper realistic audio, giving you chance to get involved with aspects such as ambiences, voice, music and overall SFX. 

The studio has a long-standing history in creating some of the best games on the market on console platforms. This role will have you working closely with the management and will get involved with various aspects of development, which includes liaising with department leads, scheduling, milestone management and advising the best course of action with each project hurdle. You will manage multiple stages at once, ensuring quality is kept up to a high standard, while also being a key motivator in the team. 

The role will complement someone looking for creative freedom and a chance to leave their thumbprint on a range of new projects, overseeing features from concept to completion. 

Requirements 

  • At least 4 years’ experience in the games or film industry in a similar position or as a Producer  
  • Past experience of managing Audio/Sound teams   
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for story telling 
  • Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira (or similar) 
  • Strong experience of stakeholder management and the game development life cycle
