Brand Manager to work with a world leader in VR game dev and publishing, to take ownership of the marketing campaigns for a range of VR games along with supporting company-wide marketing projects.
Game Marketing
Develop the brand marketing strategy and plans for assigned games, working closely with the Brand Director and wider marketing team, and gaining alignment with all stakeholders.
Oversee the development of each title’s brand identity and key materials, working with agencies, the internal creative team and development as required. Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across the whole campaign.
Manage the development and implementation of marketing activities and campaign beats, ensuring these are effective, delivered on time, and to budget.
Manage paid media, working with agencies as required.
Work together with the wider publishing team to ensure the holistic marketing campaign is effective and fully supported across all areas of the marketing mix.
Collaborate closely with the development team on build and asset requests, messaging etc.
Collate and analyse campaign data and feedback to help shape both the future plans and game content.
Ownership and management of marketing budget for assigned titles.
Company Marketing
Support the Brand Director and Corporate Communications Manager on the planning and execution of industry-facing and company-wide marketing activities
Manage the development and implementation of company marketing projects, activities and assets, ensuring campaigns are impactful, on time and to budget.
Act as the brand guardian for company materials, ensuring consistency across all assets and activities.
Leadership
Lead and mentor junior members of the Brand team, supporting their growth and success.
Act as an evangelist for your games and projects across the publishing team and wider business, as well as first parties and partners.
Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that encourages exploration and continual improvement, balanced with quality and timely delivery.
Requirements
3+ years’ experience within a brand marketing role at a video game developer or publisher.
Evidence of applied and theoretical understanding of brand and marketing management.
Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and execute challenging projects on time and to budget.
Experience developing creative briefs, managing asset development, and constructively critiquing assets from a brand perspective.
Experience collaborating with individuals and teams of different backgrounds, seniorities, and viewpoints, including with game developers.
Commercial awareness, knowledge and passion for video games and the video game industry.
Proven written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
Inquisitive, analytical and thrives on feedback. Willing to find and utilise learnings, other perspectives and creative solutions to shape and iterate on plans and challenge their own thinking.
