We are working with an Indie Games studio based in Guildford who are looking for a passionate Brand Manager to join them.
The current team, although small (you will be the sixth member) is headed up by 3 heavy hitters who bring a wealth of knowledge to the table and have 8 signed games already under their belt.
This role will see you join the experienced team and help launch and sustain marketing campaigns for their entire catalogue and very much help to shape the future of the business. The environment is one of collaboration and will see you work closely with the Head of Comms and the CEO – as they want you to bring your creative stamp to the role.
The role:
- Planning, executing and driving marketing campaigns
- Ensuring the games are intelligently marketed from launch and beyond
- Work closely with the Head of Comms, Publishing Analyst and CEO
- Liaise with developers to ensure full transparency of campaigns and incorporate their feedback where appropriate
About you:
- Quite simply, you will love indie games! You will understand the trends, play indie games yourself and know all the publishers operating in the space
- You will have planned and executed marketing campaigns before. Games experience is advantageous but not essential
- You will have a deep knowledge of modern marketing channels (Discord, Twitter)
- You are as comfortable with paid media as you are with earned media and community development
- You know what makes a good trailer, screenshot, or Steam page, and can articulate why you hold that opinion
- You are good at taking and giving actionable feedback
- You are a self-starter who is confident about taking the initiative
- You are an excellent copywriter
- You are so computer literate that you aren’t even sure what that terms means anymore
- You have no difficulty creating gifs, taking screenshots, and doing basic image and file manipulation.
This is an opportunity for someone looking to carve out a niche and drive a new set of brands forward. You will be given autonomy but also a lot of support in this tight knit family. If this role sounds like it’s for you please email your CV to Louise Wardale at louise.wardale@amiqus.com
