A South East based Games studio are currently looking for a Build Engineer to work on a range of new titles on Console and PC platforms.

The studio is renowned in the Console/PC industry for creating fun, easy to play / hard to master games, with their debut title topping charts with rave reviews from players and critics alike.

The position will have you getting involved with aspects such as build/test/tools automation on their current and new titles in the pipeline. You’ll work closely with both code and art teams and be the gatekeeper for anything Build related. We’re looking for someone who loves aspects such as continuous integration, creating dashboards and creating/maintaining reports and graphs. Helping build a picture of the vital data to help improve pipelines.

This position can offer this person a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team and in a fast-paced environment. This would suit someone either from a current Build/Automation Engineer or Tools Programming background, who enjoys setting up builds and managing an important part of the development process.

In return the studio can offer a competitive salary, pension, relocation assistance and other amazing studio benefits such as gym/shop/technology discounts. Also, the chance to work with games industry veterans who have a great track record of delivering high profile successful projects.

This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if that suits your preference, although you must be UK based for the 100% remote working option.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience as either a Build Engineer, Tools Programmer or similar
  • Knowledge of Automation and Continuous Integration
  • Experience of C#, Python or similar scripting language
  • Team City or Jenkins experience is a bonus
  • Experience or an interest in working in the games industry
