We have partnered exclusively with a VR technology studio developing an exciting new social platform and they are looking for a Business Development Associate  to join them in their Liverpool studio.

Made up of a team of co-founders of games industry veterans, business executives and marketing professionals, the principals of this technology company have a proven and verifiable track record of delivering critically and commercially successful products and results over a period of over 30 years.
It builds upon its core team’s remarkable pedigree in new and unexpected ways and is on a mission to deliver the absolute best way for people to engage and communicate in virtual reality.

The Technology attracts regular enquiries from third parties around the world about licensing the product for use in various b2b settings. The Business Development Associate is the primary point of contact for those enquiries and will be central to developing this part of our business. 

The job involves:

  • Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching potential strategic partners and identifying the appropriate point of contact for engagement
  • Contacting potential partners via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Handling and tracking enquiries from third parties 
  • Liaising with the senior leadership team

You will:

  • Have strong communication and be fluent in IT 
  • Be inventive and have an ability to solve difficult problems 
  • An ability to handle pressure and hit milestones
  • Be confident in handling multiple conversation and projects simultaneously
  • Have attention to detail and be skilled in prioritising
  • Excellent time management and organisation

Any of the following will be advantageous, but not required:

  • Interest in virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more industries and their current events
  • Being competent in handling and explaining data and market research
