A London based developer is working on a beautiful, interactive and adaptive game that change the way kids learn. They have already put together a creative and driven studio of game developers and educators and are now looking for like-minded developers to help them expand their team. They have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline and are looking for someone with enthusiasm and passion for creating stunning AAA titles for mobile.

Summary The Business Development Manager/Commercial Manager will expand the presence in the children’s app market, while working within its Sales and Marketing team. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and highly motivated sales person.

This position is best suited for someone who comes with an established network of contacts across the biggest children’s entertainment brands and has solid relationships with key decision makers in target markets. Proven experience in closing deals is essential.

The Business Development Manager/Commercial Manager may be located remotely anywhere within the United Kingdom, but must be willing to travel extensively, internationally.

Main Duties

• Generate new business

• Grow existing business

• Generate top line revenue within 6-10 months of hire

• Continue to generate ongoing top line revenue in new markets with very aggressive quotas

• Represent the products and expertise in the marketplace and relative to its competition

• Attend trade shows and conferences

• Set up and attend client meetings and deliver sales pitches and presentations

• Own the proposal generation dynamics in close collaboration with the Operations and Marketing teams

• Maintain a Gap Plan and track achievement against sales target Required Skills

• Commercial experience of 2+ years of demonstrated experience and success in understanding where we should place future business.

• Must be able to generate and close deals within 6-12 months of hire

• Ability to creatively and proactively meet and exceed targets

• Ability to forecast and manage pipeline

• Ability to prospect and establish new client relationships and network within an organization.

• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Desired Skills

• Experience of working within a team environment.

• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Ability to forecast sales opportunities. Experience

• 3-5+ years commercial services.

• A robust network of key decision makers.

• A strong social presence with a healthy network of industry specific connections.

• Proven ability to secure meetings with key decision makers.
