Are you  a business leader with a strong commercial background? Can you organise, streamline and focus development teams? Are you adept at handling senior investors and investment groups to ensure they are kept updated and their expectations managed?

We're exclusively partnered with an amazing game developer in Helsinki who are looking for a CEO or COO. They are a start-up, but they have full funding, a great organisation and a strong brand identity. What they now need is a CEO or COO who can balance out the amazing creative and cerebral ambitions of the company with commercial realism and practical production solutions.

The studio are focused on educational games, specifically bringing the learning of Quantum Physics to a very playable, accessible game on mobile. They have recruited from some of the top game developers in the world as well as academic and science centres such as MIT and CERN. They really are super high calibre. The game looks great as well.

This really is an excellent opportunity, a chance to really take the helm of a unique and original company. The hard 'start-up' work of raising investment is done, so this is a role to really get your teeth into and enjoy.

To be considered, you need to show:

  • Recent and demonstrable experience as a COO/CEO or similar in a Game Studio, ideally mobile games
  • In depth understanding of game publishing models
  • Track record of negotiating and securing favourable publishing and commercial deals within games
  • Proven man management experience
  • Brilliant communicator. Confident but humble, knowledgeable but inquisitive, decisive but considered.

This is a truly amazing opportunity to be a part of something incredible. The package on offer is in and around €150,000 plus options and benefits. The role is based in Helsinki, and should you need to relocate, the company will facilitate this.
