A North West based animation studio are undergoing a significant expansion due to incoming, high-profile projects and require an experienced CG Generalist to join their growing VR/AR team.

 As a CG Generalist here you’ll hit the ground running and be tasked with modelling, texturing and lighting 3D assets for a wide variety of first class products.

The studio specialise in creating high-quality visuals for 2D and 3D animation, film and commercial projects and you could play an integral part in the growth of this VR/AR department. Your first set of responsibilities will focus on modelling assets for upcoming projects but you’ll be expected to get involved in everything from modelling, texturing, previs, composition and potentially some animation. They’re looking for someone to lead by example and mentor some of the more junior artists.

You’ll be join the studio at a great time, they’re building on 21 years of experience and really pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in AR/VR. You’ll have ownership of your work and take responsibility of the projects from start to finish.

Requirements:
At Least 4 years’ experience as a 3D Generalist
A polished portfolio with demonstrable knowledge of a variety of artistic disciplines 
Significant knowledge of the following software: Max/Maya. Vray, After Effects, Nuke.
Previous shipped titles or commercial projects within a creative industry
A keen interest in VR/AR technology.
