Character Artist - Award Winning Console Studio

We are seeking an experienced Character Artist to join a double Golden Joystick nominated studio based in Liverpool to be a core part of a small but experienced team, total studio headcount is 110, on an incredibly exciting new project.

You will be someone who can work both in realism and in a stylistic way. As a Character Artist you will work closely with both the Lead Artist and Art Director alongside the animation team, to create a variety of high quality Character models based on inhouse concepts.


Key responsibilities: -


• Design and create high quality 3d character models

• Take character models from initial concept through to ingame implementation

• To ensure that created models align with set budgets and timescales

• To be able to follow design briefs and manage your own workload to ensure tasks are completed




• Portfolio demonstrating strong artistic abilities with a focus on character art

• Excellent knowledge of Maya (or 3ds Max), ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop

• Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, facial expressions, ability to capture personality

• Minimum three years of experience in game industry and at least one released project
