If you’re a fiercely passionate Character Artist, the reality is - you need to read this!

Maze Theory is pushing the boundaries of interactive and immersive character-based story telling within VR. They are seeking a Character Artist to work on a unique character-based innovation that will become the USP of a major IP’s debut VR game, due for release in 2020. 

Day to day, you will model the characters of a well-known IP. You will have a passion for the details of human anatomy, in particular facial and micro interactions and human character creation.

To be considered, we would like to see:

  • A passion for games
  • Expert knowledge of 3D packages such Maya and Z-brush
  • Experience with Unity and writing scripts to automate character creation processes 
  • Knowledge and understanding of creating high quality 3D character models


Initially, this is a full-time fixed contract position, with a great salary to match.
