Amiqus have partnered with a AAA Animation studio based in Manchester, who are currently looking to expand into Character Design and require a Character Rigger to help work on a number of new titles.

The studio has collaborated on some of the biggest games across all platforms and have worked with some of the biggest studios in world on a range of projects. 

Working with Design, Code, and Animation teams you will collaboratively bring characters to life using sophisticated scanning, rigging, and animation technologies. You will also help identify areas of the character design pipeline that can be optimised and streamlined. 
 
The ideal candidate will be passionate about all fields of Character Development and Animation and will have a constant drive to push the development of digital humans forward. This is a great opportunity for an exceptional candidate to make their mark on the future of digital humans, and be accredited for some of 2019’s most anticipated projects. 

Requirements 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the games industry 
  • Strong knowledge of Maya
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of Character design 
  • Experience with photogrammetry data and FACS based rigging for photoreal characters
  • Unreal engine experience (including Look Development)
  • A Portfolio demonstrating your experience
