Opportunity for a Cinematic Animator to create in-game real-time cinematics for a console/PC game based on a hugely successful global TV franchise. Maya or Max with Motionbulider and UE4. 

Key Responsibilities - 

Creating compelling cinematic content combining mocap and hand keyed animation for characters, vehicles and props

Using the unreal sequencer to choreography cameras, character anims and non-organic elements into real time set-pieces..

Creating character and facial animations

Handling mocap data using an in house

Collaborating with the team to integrate cinematic sequences into the flow

Troubleshooting and solve animation issues with all departments

 

Your background - 

Industry experience as an Animator using Unreal Engine

Reel demonstrating life-like and believable animation both figure and facial.

Good understanding of cinematic animation/cinematography.

Expert in animation authoring software such as Maya, Max, Motion Builder.

One or more shipped games.

Strong character animation portfolio.

Experience Facial animation and lip-syncing

Experience using mocap data.

 

This is an initial contract until the end of April with possibility for extension. Day rate is up to £250 day dependent on experience.
