A Guildford based Games studio are currently looking for a Console Developer to work on a new narrative, character driven PC/Console title, which they’re aiming to dominate its genre.

Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.  

As the Developer in this team, you will hit the ground running and help with the more technical parts of development and take full ownership of aspects such as tools, graphics and pipelines. You will also help implement visually stunning features for this new title, which they anticipate will achieve a high Metacritic score. The studio strives for high quality with every project they create and they’re aiming to achieve suspenseful and realistic graphics, which you will have a hand in creating.

This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if that suits your preference, although you must be UK/EU based for the 100% remote working option. 

Requirements 

  • Shipped games on Console/PC platforms (preferred) or Mobile 
  • Strong knowledge of Unity render pipelines and Unity Engine  
  • Experience with C++ and C#
  • A good problem solver who enjoys working in a smaller team
