This vacancy has now expired.

Interested in working with one of the UK’s most exciting indie developers? Looking for a role where your decisions make an immediate and direct impact? I am working exclusively with one of the UK’s most respected small indie studios and they are now looking to hire an experienced Social Content Producer to join their London Based team.

While the role is firmly embedded within the community/publishing team, there are several areas that the candidate could be involved with. This will largely be defined by the candidate’s skillset and interests.

The idea here is to bring someone in with a good mix of skills that will help improve the team as a whole, but also allows the incoming team member to help shape the role based on their areas of interest and expertise. So, while it would be useful to be interested in all areas of the role, that is not a requirement for consideration.

Key areas of the role include:

  • Creating and maintaining public-facing social communication, including content, tone and voice (across social media, forums and websites)
  • Reporting on social analytics, to measure feedback and performance of ongoing and campaign activity.
  • Planning and executing marketing initiatives, as agreed with the Publishing Director.
  • Help in the planning and execution of Payload Studios’ indie stands at major UK shows (e.g. EGX, Insomnia, Rezzed), including liaising with external developers and publishers.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Video production / editing
  • An interest in indie video gaming
  • Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite programs such as After Effects and Illustrator

Desirable Skills:

  • Community management experience
  • Live event experience
  • Experience with paid social media
