Amiqus are proud to announce another exclusive opportunity with a freemium casual gaming company headquartered in Spain that has been profitable for several years with a large player base comprising of highly loyal paying users.

They are embarking on an ambitious organic and acquisitive growth plan that is fully-funded by their private equity backers, by diversifying into different genres that will transform their size in the medium term.

Position mandate:

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a key role in this transformational journey. The Board is seeking an exceptional leader with tremendous drive, laser focus on the business objectives, strategic and operational skills and experience, who can reinforce a culture of accountability and high work ethic as they scale. You would be an achiever, overseeing the Company P&L, product delivery and performance, growth trajectory and ongoing operations and procedures.

As COO, you will be the company’s second-in-command, with CFO and CTO reports, working directly with the CEO and responsible for delivery of the growth plan and overall operational efficiency of the business. You will plan, direct, and oversee operational policies, initiatives and goals, and be a key member of the executive team within the business.

Experience Required to apply

• Highly motivated with strong work ethic, impeccable character and positive attitude.

• An exceptional leader with a track record in an operational role having met or exceeded the business plan deliverables in a fast-growing business;

• Experience within an on-line and mobile free-to-play gaming industry preferably with game development/technical background;

• Self-starter with excellent strategic, organization skills, and ability to take an idea from inception to completion while managing various departments & deadlines;

• Proven track record of achieving projections, targets, KPI’s;

• Ability to make balanced and insightful decisions in a fast-paced environment;

• An innovative and imaginative style to drive strategic direction.

• Experience building and managing high performing teams.

• Excellent communication skills and capable of meeting reporting demands of professional investors. Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the business P&L. Make key decisions to meet these targets

• Accountability for growth trajectory and key performance indicators;

• Developing and mentoring others.

• Drive the product roadmap and expand distribution avenues;

• Establish and implement performance assessment criteria, targets and process in conjunction with the CEO

• Meetings, presentations and reports to the BOD or investors. Follow up on and completion of action items

• Identify new business opportunities including due diligence of acquisition targets, negotiations and closing and needed talent additions;

• Follow competitive analysis and benchmarking for products’ competitive performance based on the iterative ‘assess, pivot and evolve’ methodology, and maximize the Company’s business opportunities.
