A Belgium based PC/Console and Mobile studio are currently looking to expand on their recent award-winning success and require a DevOps Engineer to work on their new highly anticipated IP.
The studio requires this person to help set up a range of different architectures such as their automated testing, analytics, anti-cheat systems, game updates and general online services. You’ll work closely with both code and art teams and be the gatekeeper for anything DevOps related. The game will be exciting and fast paced, so part of your role must ensure that the gameplay process is smooth and lag free. You will also have a hand in developing the code for fair matchmaking features and player leaderboards.
This is a small team with big ambitions, so there will be plenty for you to get involved with, the studio is setting up something from scratch and you’ll be helping put their Live Ops into practice. This role will offer you a position of influence and close communication with the Co-Founders of the studio, to help drive the whole DevOps strategy.
This role can either be remote working 100% or remote initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so.
- At least 2 years’ experience as either a Build Engineer, Tools Programmer or DevOps Engineer role
- Knowledge of Automation and Continuous Integration
- Experience of Unity, Photon and Playfab
- Experience or an interest in working in the games industry is a bonus
