Are you a talented Environment Artist with a recent background of working on PC and Console titles? Would you consider your portfolio to be a mix of realistic and stylised? Do you want to work in a small team on a brand new IP?
We're partnered with one of the UK's most successful independent games developers. They've developed a litany of interesting, unique and well received games across multiple platforms, and are continuing to do so. This new team is working on a new project which is going to be developed for PC in the first instance. You'd be working in a small art team of 5, with you being the sole environment artist. You will be given a decent range of creative freedom on a brand new project where the art style hasn't been fully nailed down.
This role would suit someone who:
Is an expert in the creation of high quality, high resolution 3D assets, UV maps, textures, and other content.
Is a 'team player' who goes above and beyond to support those around them
Ideally has experience with projects using Unity Engine. But other engines are welcome!
Has good game development experience at a professional level (ideally 2-3 shipped titles)
Knows how to implement a suitable pipeline for environment art production.
Can oversee the consistency of environment art on given project.
This role is brand new and exciting, its on a new project so you can really light rip with your creative skills; the studio is mature and genuinely collaborative. They enjoy all the usual social perks of being a happy games studio, but also value work-life balance. They are constantly recognised as one of the best studios to work at in the UK.
The role comes with a competitive salary, based on experience, and a whole host of awesome benefits including relocation assistance (if required), holidays, pension and other bits and pieces.
