Amiqus are working exclusively with a cutting-edge VR development studio as they look to grow their Liverpool based team. I’m looking to speak with experienced Technical Artists with a genuine passion for VR development.

Founded by games industry legends, the studio are now made up of highly experienced developers who come from AAA backgrounds. They focus on creating projects that push the boundaries of VR development and you’ll become an integral cog in their machine as a VR Technical Artist.

You’ll take on a really varied role and be responsible for:


  • Providing a technical bridge between art and code teams using the Unity engine to produce VR experiences on Mobile, PC, and Console.
  • Constructing shaders through art tools provide bespoke, efficient shaders for runtime, working within a PBR pipeline.
  • Providing tools and rigs for artists and animators. 

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a studio who are right on the bleeding edge of Virtual Reality and only looking forward. You’ll need to be motivated by tech and passionate about all things AR, VR and MR.


  • A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional VR/tech/Games projects (Essential)
  • Exceptional skills in Mel, Python etc as well as the Unity game engine
  • 2-3 shipped AAA titles ideally
