Front End Web Developer - HTML5 CSS3 Angular - London

This client  is the destination for music in virtual reality. They’ve partnered with hundreds of artists to create thousands of virtual reality experiences. You’ll see International superstars, breakthrough bands, underground DJs, stunning ensemble performances, and everything in between. By putting music in the front and centre, they’ll bring musicians and fans closer together than ever before.

Who are you?
You’re an experienced front-end developer with a superb track record building responsive consumer websites, and you love to learn and tackle new technical challenges. You have proven experience working in a team of engineers and other front-end developers as you build the front-end that works with a back-end system engineered by your colleagues. The client requires the best talent with developers who have experience of building rich and complex user interfaces that are both consumer and internal-facing. You will work with the UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. They need someone who will take ownership and build a UI they're proud of and that they can be enthusiastic about.

Responsibilities & Experience
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and responsive layout
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Proficient in advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as Angular or React
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Bonus skills:

Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Multiple shipped software products
This is an initial 3 month contract with distinct possibility of extension. Rate to £300 day
