Amiqus are working closely with a pioneering independent video games developer and publisher, who’s internal development teams are working on a variety of new and unannounced games for PC and console including PS5 and Xbox Series X.

They are now looking for an experienced Game Designer to join a brand-new team in their Birmingham City Centre studio to shape and steer work on a next-gen project as they carefully grow. You will be a world-class Designer with a can-do attitude who is self-motivated with the drive and ambition to become a strong team player.

To be considered, we would like to see:

  • At least 1 shipped title
  • Ambition to build & lead a design team that will go on to create world-class games
  • Knowledge of in-game economies and micro-transactions a significant asset
  • Unity/UE4 experience is a plus, but not essential.

In return, you can expect a generous salary and whole host of benefits such as flexible working hours, with strong emphasis on work/life balance… extra holidays – A day off on your Birthday plus extra time off in the summer and around Christmas. A modern and spacious studio and expenses-paid trips to key industry events. Gamescom, Develop, GDC, Unreal Fest, and many more.

To get the ball rolling, please send your CV to Chloe.O’Brien@amiqus.com or call 01925 839 741 to discuss in more detail!
