Are you a creative Game Designer who can work on new concepts right through to finished product? Can you work independently on abstract ideas? Are you interested in algorithmic based design?
We're working with the Developer of one of the worlds most successful mobile titles, which has since gone on to be developed on PS4 and Steam, they have even made a board game version which has since sold out and is in demand. The team is only 7 in total, but they want to grow and work on new IP; this is where you come in. They need someone who has their own game ideas and wants to explore different game genres and types. They are focused on Simulation/Strategy type titles, but are happy to explore other areas. You don't have to have a leaning towards F2P, as their games are premium, but any games experience is welcomed. If you like game jams, working ad hoc on new projects, are flexible and love games then this is the role for you.
To be considered we need to see:
- Strong game design background. You must have worked on at least two successful titles
- That you have and can work on games from concept to finished product
- Creative mindset, with references outside the norm of games and comic books
- Independent streak; we need someone who can work under their own steam with minimal input
- Sincere passion for games
The studio is based in Bristol, but for those based elsewhere they will consider helping you relocate, or even work remotely for some of the time. The management will offer an amazing salary and benefits package which is tailored to you. If you want to discuss share options, or a greater salary these are all on the table for the right person. The studio is mature, considered and friendly. They value a healthy balance between working hard and living well.
