A London based games studio are currently looking for a Game Designer to work on a new mobile title, based on a well-known Film IP.

The role will have you working closely with the teams current Creative Director in helping mentor a small team and develop the game from concept to completion. 

The studio come with a great reputation of creating fun and addictive games which appeal to both social and casual audiences, using top famous IP’s based on bestselling Films, TV series and books. As the Game Designer you’ll be involved with creating these experiences from designing levels, game mechanics, story, reward systems, challenges and general gameplay. 

The studio are very small and have a fantastic ‘indie’ feel, where your ideas will be shared and contributed to the end project. This would suit a generalist designer who enjoys a flat structure, where they can get involved with different disciplines of design and assist with rapid prototyping. 

This role will promote freedom in your work style and will allow you to be creative with your design in an open-plan environment, where ideas are commonly contributed and everyone has an input on the project from start to finish. 

Requirements 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the games industry as a Game Designer
  • Worked on at least one title on either iOS or Android platforms
  • Proficient in game design tools of your choice
  • Experience with Unity is a bonus
