About Warp Digital
We help developers and publishers bring their games to market by providing development support and porting services. We are a studio filled with creative minds who deeply love making games, with an extensive history of original development.

We believe in striving to be the best that we can be by cultivating a team-oriented working environment that prioritises fixing problems over assigning blame, and encouraging open and honest communication.

We’re looking to find an experienced Level Designer in Unity, who will help us take our newest project to the next level. If that sounds like you, then read on.

Your Mission:

  • Creation and addition of new content for existing titles
  • Make sure the user experience of core features is excellent for players of all skill levels
  • Implement, balance and bug fix game-play features
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the level pacing flows and feels fun for the player
  • Using Unity to modify and iterate on the game through-out development
  • Working with engineers and other team members in understanding functionality necessary for implementing various interface / interaction solutions.

Goes without saying, but we will require:

  • Several years’ experience as a designer within the games industry
  • At least one completed game in your portfolio from start to finish using Unity
  • Experience creating content and levels with Unity.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of platform limitations.
  • Experience working with version control software such as SVN, Perforce or Git.
  • Experience working with task / bug tracking software such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Redmine or Hansoft.
  • Visual creativity and a passion for generating new ideas.
  • Work well within a team and take on board feedback and critique from others.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with the porting or co-development process
  • Experience working on console titles
  • Have multiple different genres or styles in a portfolio
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

The juicy carrot dangling:

  • Fair working hours - We believe in a good work/life balance, so we offer a crunch-free environment
  • Holiday Allowance - We offer 25 days annual leave entitlement plus all 8 UK bank holidays
  • Annual Salary Review - Every year we will review and consider everyone’s salary for increase
  • Company Pension – Employer contribution matching on the UK government automatic enrolment scheme
  • Continued Learning – We offer free Udemy courses at any experience level for those wanting to go deeper
