A Guildford based Independent Games studio are currently looking to expand their development team with a Gameplay Programmer, who will help develop their new online world.

The team have been built with a strong AAA foundation, with a great track record of developing AAA standard games and are working on a unique PS4 Console Title. The title allows the players to explore and build their own worlds and interact with other players in a highly customisable setting.

The successful candidate will work closely with Game/Level designers, Artists and Animators in defining the core gameplay systems of the title, such as player progression, UI, interaction, inventory management, bug fixing and player movement/controls. This role would suit a good generalist who likes to get involved with multiple areas and is a strong believer of creating fluid gameplay.

The ideal candidate will be someone who craves to own a large area of the project and have their ideas implemented into the game.

Requirements

Strong experience with C++
Shipped at least 1 console/PC title
Good written and verbal English language skills
A bonus if you have experience with UDK or Unreal 4
