A Manchester city centre based VR studio are currently looking for a talented C++ Programmer to help them with a new VR project, which brings the world of video games and science together.

This sophisticated piece of tech is well established, highly customisable and will allow the developer to dig into an amazing piece of technology. 

The Technology uses complex algorithms and links with Unreal 4 to allow scientists to rapidly create cures for existing diseases and conditions. As the Programmer on this project you will be developing the core functions such as UI, general gameplay programming and harnessing the power of Unreal 4 for the benefit of the studio and project. 

This is a great opportunity to work on a new high definition project, using one of the best games engines to date and using some of the most advanced VR technology at present. 

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the games or VR industry as a Programmer 
  • Strong experience with C++ 
  • Past experience of completing console games would be a bonus 
  • An interest or experience with VR and developing with Unreal 4
