A London based Games studio are currently looking for a talented Generalist Artist to work on a range of new titles on mobile platforms.

The studio are currently working on a number of top IP’s and require this person to work closely with the current Art Director in defining the vision of the projects currently in development.

Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of interactive games and apps, some of which have been very well received and have been based on very well-known franchises.

Your first mission while working at the studio, will be to model and texture a range of assets that the player will interact with for a narrative driven title. This role can offer this Artist a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team, where they can get involved in concept phases and really make a difference on the final output.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working on a variety of models from hard surface modelling, environments, characters and assets. The more generalist you are, the better! If you are more specialist, we’d still be interested in hearing from you!

This is a 6 month FTC with the possibly of being extended or being made permanent.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the games industry as an artist
  • Strong understanding of 3D modelling
  • Experience with Photoshop and either 3DS Max or Maya
  • Knowledge of engines such as Unity (preferred) or Unreal
  • A portfolio demonstrating your art experience
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a studio who are working on a range of new games, which you will have a hand in from start to finish. To apply please send your CV to will.hudson@amiqus.com
