Job Description

• As Codemasters Director of Sales the right candidate will be responsible for owning and delivering 8 figure global revenue forecasts across our AAA games portfolio. You will liaise with every aspect of this fast growing, listed business, working closely with the executive team and publishing and studio leadership both operationally and strategically. This pivotal role requires a compelling mix of commercial experience and relationship building alongside strong analytical skills. Working closely with the VP Sales & Marketing you and your team will oversee the forecasting, reporting, analysis and delivery of our revenue targets across both digital and retail, as well as managing key relationships with platform holders and global distribution partners. Key stakeholder relationships for this role include 1st parties, distribution partner Country Managers and Sales Directors, Game Directors, Executive Producers, Studio Heads, Marketing, Operations, Live Services, Bus Dev, Finance and the SVP and C-level executive team


• Leading, nurturing and managing an engaged, high performing and entrepreneurial sales team
• Full ownership of global direct digital sales channels and building, maintaining and leveraging senior level commercial relationships with 1st and 3rd party digital storefronts
• Stewardship of Codemasters products at retail in partnership with our global distributor
• Managing our distributor relationships and our presence in retail to ensure great execution
• Owning the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting process in collaboration with Finance
• Building a robust commercial reporting pipeline suitable for multiple audiences in a publicly listed company
• Leading commercial analysis and using insights to help drive change throughout the organisation
• Collaborating on SKU planning and AWP setting with Marketing, Studio and Live Services to balance operational simplicity with partner requirements and market trends
• Owning product pricing and SKU mix over product and service life cycle to maximize revenue whilst maintaining long term customer value perception for our brands
• Championing change and process improvement when new opportunities arise in this rapidly evolving industry space

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience of global sales leadership, preferably in games
• Extensive digital commerce experience, preferably in the games sector
• Experience with sales forecasting and building and managing sales processes
• Global retail experience in games, home entertainment or FMCG
• Moulding and managing highly engaged and passionate teams
• Experience with commercial analysis and business modelling
• Experience of stakeholder management up to C-level
• Interest in motorsports or games a bonus
