A Newcastle based VR Studio are looking for an experienced Graphics Programmer to work on their award-winning 3D visualisation software.
The technology has been renowned in different sectors and allows users to create and customise models, with a bonus of bringing them to life using VR.
The studio has already established themselves in the retail, commercial, exhibition and automotive industry and are looking to impress other industries with their technology. As a member of the Prototype Team you will be helping strike the balance of helping systems run faster while making their models more realistic, you will also help with the development of new graphics features and enhance their real-time rendering engine.
Most of your time will be spent working with the existing international development team, learning new systems and digging into the technology in more detail. This role would suit a developer who is a self-starter, a good problem solver and is looking for a step up into a senior programmer role, with some mentoring and lead responsibilities.
You will also be working on the best projects the studio can offer, with quick turnaround times so you’ll never work on the same project for too long!

Requirements
- At least 4 years’ experience in a Graphics Programmer position
- Strong skills in either C++ or C#
- Experience with HLSL, OpenGL or Direct X 11/12
- Knowledge and experience with a range of commercial game and rendering engines, such as Unity and Unreal (for example)
