Amiqus have partnered with an exciting studio based in Hertfordshire who are looking to hire an experienced Senior Product Manager to join their growing team.
The studio has helped release some of the best Indie and Anime games on the Console/PC market and this position will offer you the chance to work with these titles and new releases.
As a member of the Marketing team, you will be working closely with the developers and helping them plan their future releases. Other responsibilities include talking to internal PR, Social Media and Product Teams to help get ‘the word out’ on these exciting new releases. The position comes with a lot of influence in the studio as you’ll be directly interfacing with all sides of game development, from sales, retail, development and media, also having a huge say on the Marketing Strategy of the business and the budgets around this. You’ll also get the chance to mentor and lead a small team of mid-level Product Managers.
The role will offer you a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing studio with games that have attracted a large number of users. You will also be involved with the product launch of new upcoming titles and taking studios through the journey of first contact to a shipped release.
You’ll also get the opportunity to attend worldwide events and liaise with their existing Marketing Team to uphold a positive brand and PR for the studio. This role can be remote working initially (you must be UK based already), with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so, in a hybrid remote working/onsite model. A huge bonus if you’re already in a commutable distance to the studio!
There is a competitive salary on offer, including exclusive studio benefits, relocation assistance, pension, choice of laptop and a generous holiday allowance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Product/Marketing position
- Ability to interface with clients, consumers and media
- Excellent customer facing and writing skills
- Past released titles on Console, PC or Mobile platforms
- Highly approachable and a good ability to network
- An avid player of indie games (especially the Anime world)
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a studio who are dominating the games market and can offer the successful candidate a position of influence in the business to manage an autonomous desk.
