Are you a Senior Backend Developer looking for a fresh challenge?
Amiqus have partnered with an ambitious Apps Developer in their search for a Head of Sever Development to join their team in the UK. They’re a successful start-up with several offices around the world and this role will revolve around management of their 5 person server development team as they build a new series of Java and Node JS Micro-Services.
It’s a hands on role, you’ll have the opportunity to design, implement and supporting new software as a live services. You’ll look after the full development life-cycle and be responsible for researching and developing solutions using new technologies.
You’ll need to be a highly experienced Java Developer with demonstrable experience in a leadership role.
Technical requirements:
• Spring Development
• Java Servlet Development (Servlet 2.5/3.0, JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
• JPA, JTA, Hibernate
• Experience with a Java Servlet Container, Tomcat preferred.
• Node JS (MEAN Stack) EC 6+ and NPM
• RDMS (MySQL)
• No-SQL (Mongo or DynamoDB)
• Experience with Cache Frameworks (Memcache and Redis preferred)
• Experience with Message queues (Rabbit MQ preferred)
• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, or Centos preferred)
• Experience with Version Control (GIT preferred)
• IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans or IntelliJ preferred)
