Head of UI/UX

  • Location: London
  • Salary/rate: £70,000-£80,000
  • Date posted: 23/06/20
  • Job reference: 7854
  • Permanent

I’m currently working with a London based Fashion based Game start-up.  They already have a great product and high-profile link-ins with High fashion houses. What they are looking for now is a Head of UI/UX to join their small team and help them manage the overal look and feel of this game, to put the player first. The game is currently in soft-launch and you’re able to download it.

I am looking for a passionate design leader to build, coach and inspire their product design team. Working closely with their CEO & Creative Director, you will drive the vision and strategy of designacross the company and promote best design and design related practice. As a leader of the Design team, you will instill a culture of excellence and passion and deliver innovative luxury fashion and game experience.

To be considered for this role, we'd love to see:

  • You are a practitioner of user-centered design principles and are excited to mentor a team on its effective use.
  • A long term background within Mobile Games
  • Have the fullest understanding of digital design, specifically for mobile apps
  • Thrive in an environment that uses data to evaluate the efficacy of work and use data to learn how to do better.
  • Strong understanding of wire framing, user journeys and the psychology behind player experience.

This role will be a senior role, you'd be on the leadership team and absolutely fundamental to the success and future of the title. This is a perfect chance to move from perhaps a bigger studio and step in to something more boutique where your impact is more directly felt. They are totally open, and really want you, to bring your own ideas and methodologies. They want to bring you in to you listen to you, not for you to be told what to do.

The studio are happy for someone to start this role remotely, as long as you are UK based. Long term they are hoping this person will be based from their offices in London. They are offering a salary of around £65,000-£80,000 plus share options, holiday and relocation (if req). They're a passionate bunch of people, very diverse studio and really friendly.
