Are you a HR Manager with a background of working with and around creatives? Do you want to work alongside the CEO of a much lauded and respected games studio?
We're working with the management team of an established Games Development Studio, who thanks to sustained growth, are looking for a HR Manager to join them on a full-time basis. This is an all encompassing, stand alone position which will incorporate all elements of HR from employee relations to rewards and benefits but - we want someone who is passionate about soft skill development, employee engagement, recruitment branding, exclusivity and diversity.
The staff here are high calibre, intelligent and creative; this brings its own set of unique issues from a HR Perspective. This role is split between daily 'business as usual' elements of a role as well as the more long term strategic planning. Each day will be different. The CEO of this studio is well respected and a great person to work for - she prides herself on running an inclusive, modern and stable environment which creates amazing games.
To be considered for this role, we'd need to see:
- Recent experience as a HR Manager in a creative environment. This could be games, TV, Media, marketing, Art etc.
- Strong all-round HR experience. This may not be a role for a specialist in one area
- A resilient, confident and empathetic character
- A good communicator
- Emotional intelligence
****The CEO has confirmed that they are able to recruit and offer this role within current COVID-19 restrictions. The process will be done virtually over a number of different video stages. Once offered, you will be provided the equipment to work remotely.****
The role is paying up to £60,000, for the right person, and also comes with a host of other benefits including flexi-time, 25 days holiday, contributory pension and a beautiful, modern office in central Guildford.
