Amiqus have partnered with one of the leading VR developers in the country in their search for a technical operations manager to join their rapidly expanding team. They specialise in creating AAA quality VR experiences for some of the biggest brands in the world and this role is vital to their plans as they continue to produce “world-first” interactive experiences. 

In this role you will:
Manage and oversee a small but growing technical team.
Have oversight in the planning and execution of all our on-site activations and activities.
Travel worldwide to facilitate on-site activations.
Design, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of all in-house IT infrastructure, hardware, systems and processes.
Support the development team in providing the tools – both hardware and software – to function effectively.

We’re looking to speak with experienced individuals, ideally someone who has a broad knowledge of IT with the games world. The ideal candidate will have:

Significant experience within the games industry managing and resolving a plethora of technical issues (Network, infrastructure, hardware, software etc)
Team lead experience or the desire to take that step up
Knowledge of VR/games tech; art packages, games engines, programming languages, VR headsets etc.

You’ll join a super collaborative team of passionate developers in an environment that rewards boundary-pushing and a mindset of finding and delivering solutions. Salary is dependent on experience but very competitive.
