About the role
As the Community Developer, you have high interest in creating games and will act as an internal indie-game developer. You will be the voice of our brand and create fun and amazing games in that inspire our community and new users. Your main goal will be to grow and nurture the community and give feedback about the platform to improve it. You will also work with creators and help them capture their ideas of creating amazing games for our users. You will work closely with management and the development teams as we together build a thriving community for our users.
Responsibilities
- Positively engage with the community across Discord, Twitter, Reddit, and other social media channels.
- Be the voice of the company: Create fun and engaging activities with the community such as live-stream game creation events, create documentation and tutorials, and be socially active with the community.
- Build fun and interesting games using the platform to engage and inspire users.
- Identify and work together with top community creators to further help them develop their ideas and support them in their game creations
- You should be able to produce video material, screenshots, and copies
- Work as a bridge between the company and our community reporting any issues or general feedback from our users.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in community management within the entertainment industry.
- Ability to make compelling indie games and prototypes with varied gameplay that engages our audience on PC.
- High knowledge in utilizing social channels.
- Self-starter, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
