A Barcelona based Games studio are currently looking to expand their development team, who are aiming to create the best-in-class experiences that last forever in players memories.

The studio is looking for a Lead AI Programmer to collaborate with the Technical Director, to manage a small team, while remaining hands on with developing core AI systems.  

They are looking for this individual to have high energy and passion for video games and constantly come up with new and innovative ideas to keep their player base engaged. Your core function will be to implement AI systems to go into the game such as realistic NPC/Enemy behaviour, while mentoring/managing a small team with an 80% (hands-on) 20% (hands off) split. 

This role will offer you the chance to work with people on a day-to-day basis who bring a collective portfolio of high-selling games. As the Lead Developer in this team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and wear multiple hats, if you are a AI specialist with a good knowledge of Game Design, then this role would be perfect for you.

Requirements 

  • C++ Experience 
  • Shipped at least two AAA titles 
  • Past Lead or mentoring experience 
  • Good knowledge of Gameplay and AI Systems 
  • Experience of Unreal Engine 4 is a bonus
