Amiqus have partnered with an exciting games studio based in central London who require an experienced Lead Artist to lead a small team working on award winning mobile titles.

The studio have produced a range of games which have consistently been downloaded in the high millions and have topped the charts in several international countries.

This Lead Artist will work very closely with the Co-Founders of the studio and manage a small team of Artists. You will be self-organised and be able to juggle managing a small team, while assisting with the grading of work and building your own 3D and 2D assets. This role will suit a generalist Artist who can get involved with producing both 2D and 3D art and also design UI’s and interactive menus. 

The role will complement someone looking for creative freedom and a chance to leave their thumbprint on multiple projects, overseeing features from concept to completion. The ideal candidate’s portfolio will contain good solid UI work and a bonus to your application if you have further examples of animations, characters and environments.

In this role you will be expected to push the creativity and level of the games design, while balancing the challenge of a live game. 

This posting is open to current Lead Artists or a Senior/experienced Artist wanting to move up the career ladder.


  • At least 4 years’ experience in the games industry and at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior position
  • Strong Unity 3D experience
  • Strong User Interface Experience   
  • A good blend of 2D and 3D skills
  • Experienced with Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D packages
  • A portfolio demonstrating your experience
