Are you a Lead Designer looking to drive the vision of a new, ambitious sequel game?

If creating content which excites and engages their players is your thing, this role could be just the ticket for you. Built on the phenomenal success story of Human: Fall Flat, No Brakes Games have opened a brand new studio in sunny Tenerife. They are looking for a highly proactive and creative individual to join their team.

This is an opportunity here to collaborate with other development groups across the globe and make a significant contribution to not only the game, but also the team. They want employees to feel empowered in developing the studio culture.

What will your role look like? Think design ownership from initial concept and prototype to final release. Defining the vision and core pillars of the game will be key, and you will constantly be identifying features and functionality of the game across multiple platforms. Providing critical feedback on the game and turning this into actionable items will be essential, as will considering and incorporating stakeholder input where appropriate. You’ll also need great people skills to mentor other designers.

To be considered, we would like to see:

  • A minimum of 5 years of game design experience.
  • Experience using Unity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of version control such as Visual Studio.
  • Somebody who is quality focused, with a “player-first” approach when considering what is fun and game design.

A bonus, but not essential:

  • C# scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of Twitch/YouTube influencers and streaming.

To get the ball rolling and become a part of something seriously exciting, apply now using the details below.
