Amiqus have partnered with a AAA console studio based in Singapore, who are currently looking to bolster their ranks and require a Lead Environment Artist to help work on their new console title and manage a small team of Artists.
The Studio were formed by a range of key figures in the games industry, and over the years have built an experienced International Team.
The studio have released some of the biggest games on console and PC platforms and have worked with some of the biggest studios in world on a range of projects. This role will focus on you working on an existing FPS franchise, which has earned high praise and acclaim.
As the Lead Environment Artist you will work closely with the Art Director in defining the vision to the title. Your primary role will be to mentor and manage the Environment Art teams, taking part in reviews, recruitment and having oversight of everything Asset/Environment related. There will also be opportunity to stay ‘hands on’ and model and texture photorealistic environments and props to go into the games, making sure all Artwork meets the high standard of the studio.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a 3D/asset/environment artist, working on at least one AAA title.
- Proficiency with 3DS Max or Maya and Photoshop
- An interest in story-telling/action genres
- A good portfolio showing realistic environments and props
- Past Lead or mentoring experience
